I began my career as a social worker and have over a decade of experience in the mental health and postpartum fields. I believe in working from a person centered approach, where I work alongside my clients by empowering them to be the best version of themselves within their own capacity. I am an empathetic listener and create a safe and validating space for my clients. I am passionate about working with adults and couples focusing on a variety of areas including anxiety, depression, self esteem, stress/burnout, relationships and cultural/intergenerational difficulties. As a mom myself I have a keen interest in working with women specifically in the areas of fertility, parenting, and overall maternal mental health. I also focus on cultural competence being an important part of the therapy process and can provide services in both English and Punjabi.
I work from an attachment based lens and use a variety of modalities including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution Focused Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and the Gottman’s Method for Couples.
It takes a lot of courage to reach out for support and I believe in working with you to create a therapeutic plan that fits your needs. I hope to hear from you soon so that I may support you with your next steps towards achieving your goals.

Parenting doesn’t come with a manual, and many families find themselves stuck in cycles of stress, power struggles, or disconnection. Together, we work to make sense of your child’s behaviour, strengthen attachment, and develop practical, realistic strategies that align with your values. Whether you’re navigating early childhood, big emotions, or the transitions that come with growing families, I support you in building a home environment that feels more regulated, responsive, and connected. Additionally, I work with couples seeking to reconnect after having children. The road to a healthy relationship can be challenging, and I love to help couples who need that guidance to come back to each other and reconnect on an emotional level.

Hi, I’m Emily. I’m a Provisional Psychologist, CrossFit coach, and a mom. I’m passionate about supporting individuals through life transitions, identity shifts, and the process of building confidence in who they want to be.
Before becoming a mother, I never imagined that “mom” would become such a central part of my identity. Yet, motherhood profoundly reshaped how I see myself and the way I show up in the world. Through the whirlwind of becoming a parent, I learned that it is possible, and important, to care for myself while also caring deeply for my child and family.
Motherhood is a beautiful, unexpected, and often overwhelming journey. It can bring challenges to relationships, daily routines, and personal identity, sometimes leaving things feeling unmanageable. Through my own experience, I’ve learned to embrace the chaos while staying true to myself and allowing my own needs to matter too.
Whether you’re a new parent, a step-parent, navigating midlife changes, or facing a different transition altogether, I would be honoured to work alongside you. Together, we can explore how to navigate life’s challenges and help you show up in ways that feel aligned, authentic, and sustainable.

Registered Psychologist (CAP)
I am a psychologist, a mom of two, and I love helping women find their confidence and thrive in motherhood.
Through my own parenting journey, I have come to deeply understand the struggles that mothers face and the depth to which our own upbringings can influence our ability to show up wholeheartedly in parenting. Through culturally sensitive and trauma aware approaches such as emotionally focused therapy, internal family systems, EMDR, and feminist informed counselling, I help women just like you to recover from burnout, find their sense of calm, and begin to build the family and future that had felt beyond their grasp.
I can wait to meet you and to begin your journey to wellness together.
